Puppy immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 20 from Naples on Oct 2, 1912, arriving in Boston on Oct 14, on the steamship named SS Cretic.
 SS Cretic White Star Line, 1903-1923 (A Twin-Screw Steamer)
The SS Cretic had 4 names during it's life: Hanoverian, 1902-1903; Mayflower, 1903, Cretic, 1903-1923 & Devonian, 1923-1929. The ship was scrapped in 1929.
On June 5, 1917, Puppy registered for the draft at the age of 24. His address at the time was 149 Iolite Alley, Johnstown. View Puppy's registration card.

At the age of 22, "Nunna" immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 22 along with her 2 year old daughter Jiovina (Jay) and 11 month
old son Tomasso (Tommy) from Naples arriving in Philadelphia Aug 7, 1913 on the Italian passenger steamship named SS Stampalia.
