At the age of 22, "Nunna" immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 22 along with her 2 year old daughter Jiovina (Jay) and 11 month old son Tomasso (Tommy) from Naples arriving in Philadelphia Aug 7, 1913 on the Italian passenger steamship named SS Stampalia.
